According to reports Google will launch not two but three new pixel devices this year and all three devices will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipsets, the same that are now packed inside the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.
Codenames for these devices also came into light. Muskie will be the follow-up to the original Pixel, while the 2017 iteration of the Pixel XL is currently being referred to as Walleye. The third device codenamed as Taimen, is also in the works. As per reports Taimen could be like old Motorola Nexus 6 a true phablet which will have a bigger screen than Pixel XL.
According to rumors, HTC will be manufacturing this year’s Pixels, just like it’s done for the original two handsets bearing that brand.
