Just last week the South Korean smartphone manufacturer released Samsung J2 in India. Now a new variant of the Samsung J2 with model name SM-J250G was spotted on benchmarking platforms Geekbench and GFXBench which revealed the specification of the smartphone.
According to listings, The smartphone will be fueled by 1.4Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 paired with Adreno 308 GPU. The handset will have 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. It will feature a 5-inch AMOLED display with (960px x 540px pixels) resolution.
In terms of optics, The Samsung J2 will sport an 8MP shooter on the rear end. And a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie and video-call. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 with custom TouchWiz.The device is expected to come with dual-SIM support with connectivity options such as USB OTG, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802 b/g/n, v4.1 Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
As for the scores on the Geekbench, The device achieved a score of 666 on single core test and on multi-core it scored 1750. No other information regarding the availability or the pricing of the smartphones is known at the moment.
