The American Smartphone maker, BLU has officially announced a new mid-ranged smartphone S1. The smartphone will support most of US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA and entire MVNO network, though it’s not compatible with Verizon. It is available in three color variants Black, Grey and Gold. The smartphone is priced at $180.
As for the specs, the BLU S1 will be a compact device as it features 5.2-inch display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and 282ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek 6750 paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in memory which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 64GB.
In terms of optics, the smartphone rocks a 13MP camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. And it has a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and videos. It packs a 2800mAh battery and comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Measurement of the smartphones is 147.3 x 72.8 x 8.4mm and weighs in at 137g.
