After Jio, Airtel, Vodafone announcing there big on data tariffs now Govt. owned BSNL to counter those plans by introducing ‘Unlimited Broadband at 249’ plan for its users in India. As per the plan, the telco is offering users to download 10GB data every day and unlimited voice calling. More or less, BSNL is offering 300 GB data at Rs 249 per month.

Essentially, you will get 10 GB data per day by paying Rs 249 per month. It should noted, however, that the data speed of this plan will be limited to 2 Mbps. What’s more, the plan also includes unlimited calling as well. This broadband plan comes with a catch, however. Free calls can be made only after 9 pm in the night and not after 7 am in the morning. Calling is free for the whole day though, on Sundays.
The data speed for this plan will be limited to 2Mbps. There is no confirmation regarding the drop in speeds after the daily limit is reached. With 10GB per day, this can easily be one of the cheapest data plans any major telecom company has to offer at the moment.

For mobile customers, BSNL recently announced a new monthly pack that comes with 56 GB of bundled data, along with “unlimited calls” at Rs 339. Come to think of, this is an offer better than what Airtel, Jio and Vodafone are offering to their consumers. But calling is not actually unlimited but rather limited to 25 minutes daily.
