Samsung has revealed its new entry-level smartphone in India, Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro. The device will be exclusively available via e-commerce site Flipkart starting today at Rs. 7,990 in three colour options- gold, black, and white. The company says that the J3 Pro will take the legacy of J series, which is the largest selling smartphone range in India.
Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro comes loaded with Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ features such as Ultra Data Saving (UDS) mode and S Bike mode. Specifications of the device, J3 Pro comes with a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1280. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. As for camera company has added an 8MP rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture and 5MP camera on the front. There are some great camera features on the device such as Auto, Beauty Face, Continuous Shot, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Panorama, Pro, Selfie, Sports, and Sound & Shot.
The device has connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, UBS 2.0, GPS, and GLONASS. For 4G LTE, the phone has bands- 850, 900, 1800, 2100, 2300. The Galaxy J3 Pro runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI on top which is a disappointment as most of new devices are running on Nougat and Google is also ready to reveal there new Android O. This dual-SIM smartphone has a 2600mAh battery considering its competitors in same range it bit low.
