The Indian E-commerce Giant has launched its first Billion branded smartphone, the Capture+, in India. The smartphone will be available in Mystic Black and Desert Gold colors and would go on sale from November 15. The main highlight will be dual rear cameras, fast charging support, and unlimited cloud.
Under the hood, The smartphone rocks a 5.5-inch LCD display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and has a 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top . It boasts an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with Adreno 506 GPU to handle graphical tasks.
The handset comes in two storage variants, the base version comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage and premium version comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. Both variants will support MicroSD card up to 128GB.
In terms of camera, the handset features a horizontal dual camera setup with 13MP camera with one RGB sensor and the other is a monochrome sensor, LED flash on the rear. The smartphone has features like bokeh shots offering depth of field effect. It comes with portrait mode shots offering blur background highlights. And in the front, it comes with an 8MP sensor.
The smartphone runs stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat with a promise upgrade to Android Oreo and packs a 3500mAh battery which would offer two-days of battery life according to the company. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for pricing, the base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage would cost around Rs. 10,999($169/€145) while consumers have to pay Rs. 12,999($200/€171) for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
