The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be receiving the Android Nougat update over-the-air in india, according to a rumours. The 1.3 GB update, which brings the devices up to firmware version N920CXXU3CQC7, marks the beginning of the Nougat rollout process for the Note 5 in something which will continue over the next few months. As always, bear in mind that major updates like this one can take a while to complete, so it could be a few weeks before all eligible Galaxy Note5 handsets in India are upgraded.


The Galaxy Note 5 update is a little behind schedule, with the original rollout planned for March 6. Similarly, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Nougat rollout was due on March 14 and is still yet to land, but it shouldn’t be far off.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update brings many new features to Galaxy Note 5 viz improved user interface, split-window mode, improved menu settings and notification controls. The update being a major one weighs at a hefty 1GB. Therefore, it is advisable to get your handset over 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network before hitting the download button.
