As expected, Gionee launched two new smartphones M7 and M7 Power at a press event in China today. The main highlight of the smartphone would be its minimal bezels full-view display. The Gionee M7 will go on sale on September 26 whereas the M7 power will go on sale on September 30.
As for the specs-sheet, the M7 features a feature 6.01-inch FullView AMOLED display with FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P30 Soc coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256 GB.
On the rear, it sport a horizontal dual camera setup on the rear with primary 16MP sensor and a secondary being 8 MP sensor. And, it has an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video-call. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the company’s Amigo OS 5.0 skin on top and packs a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. The handset measures 157x76x7.2mm and weighs 180 grams.
Gionee M7 Power
The M7 Power features 6-inch FullView AMOLED display, but with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage and supportss microSD card up to 256GB.
Moving on to the M7 Power optics, it sports a horizontal dual camera setup on the rear with 13MP sensors and In the front it comes with a similar 8MP selfie camera. It packs a massive 5000mAh battery and runs on Amigo OS 5.0 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Gionee M7 will be available in Sapphire Blue, Star Blue, Champagne Gold, Black and Maple colors and will carry a price tag of 2799 Yuan($423/€357) while the Gionee M7 Power will be coming in colors such as Blue, Gold and Black and it costs around 1999 Yuan($302/€255). Both handsets support 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
