Gionee has officially announced their new entry-level smartphone Gionee X1 in India. The smartphone will be available in offline stores from today onwards. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants and will cost around Rs. 8,999.
The Gionee X1 will be powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone will feature a 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution.
As for optics, the handset will sport an 8MP camera on the rear with LED flash. And it will have a similar 8MP camera on the front for selfies, video-call etc.. The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo 4.0 UI on top. It will support G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port.
Launch offers on the Gionee X1 include an offer for Airtel subscribers where customers would receive up to 10GB additional data per month for up to 6 successive recharges. Separately, Gionee X1 buyers will also get two Patym cashback voucher codes which will get them a cashback of Rs. 250 with a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on Paytm Mall.
