Google will be unveiling their new smartphones, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on October 4. The Pixel 2 XL will be manufactured by LG so it is expected to sport a bezel-less Full Vision display with 18:9 ratio same as the LG’s flagship smartphones LG G6 and V30. The Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC.
Now, According to a new rumor the upcoming Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will introduce a new feature called always-on song recognition, which will show titles and albums on the lock screen so that users could choose songs without unlocking their smartphones.
The smartphone will also come with Portrait Mode camera feature which is in-trend feature now days. The other new UI changes which will be included in the upcoming smartphones will be revamped Homescreen and a search bar. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones are expected to arrive with Android 8.1 Oreo pre-installed.
As per earlier rumors the Google Pixel 2 will have bigger bezels on the top and bottom side as they would feature dual speakers one on the top and another at the bottom bezel. Both the smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM and would be available in two storage options 64GB and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The handsets will also support wireless charging.
