The latest Google device Taimen was tested on Geekbench. Taimen is the biggest device that will be introduced this year by Google. We found out some of the details from Geekbench’s info page.
The Geekbench reveals that Taimen will have a octa-core processor with clock speed of 1.9 GHz which can be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device is expected to have 4GB of RAM similar to this year’s pixel. Taimen runs on Android O which is also expected to be launched with device at Google I/O this year.
The single core score was 1804, and the multi-core score was 6248. These scores were considerably low when compared to the OnePlus 5’s, which was tested recently. Bus as we can observe the processor is only running at 1.9 GHz which could be due to underclocking of Snapdragon 835 or it could be entirely a different mid ranged processor like Snapdragon 660. But as we know Taimen will be flagship of google so they won’t be using mid ranged processor as per our guess.
