In the month of October the Huwaei sub-brand Honor released their mid-tier smartphone Honor 7X in China and now they have launched the smartphone in Indian markets. The smartphone will go on sale in the country from Thursday, December 7 exclusively via Amazon. The smartphone will have a unibody metal design and will be available in Aurora Blue, Gold, and Black color options.
The main highlight of the Honor 7X will be its massive 5.93-inch display with full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and have 18:9 screen ratio . It is powered by an Octa-core Kirin 659 chipset. The Kirin 659 is an 16nm SoC that features four cores of Cortex A53 working at 2.36 GHz and four cores of Cortex A51 working at 1.7 GHz. To handle graphical tasks, it comes with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.
The handset will come with 4GB of RAM and will be available in two built-in storage variants in India such as 32GB and 64GB, .Both variants, can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. In terms of optics , the smartphone will feature horizontal dual camera setup with primary 16MP and a secondary 2MP. And in the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
The smartphone will run on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and packs 3340mAh battery which seems less for a big display. It measures 7.6mm thick and weighs around 165g. As for the pricing, it will start from Rs. 12,999 ($202/€171) for the 32GB version, whereas 64GB would cost around Rs. 15,999 ($249/€211)
The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, a fingerprint sensor and a proximity sensor. It measures 156.5×75.3×7.6mm and weighs in at 165 grams.
