The Taiwanese company will soon be taking the covers off its latest top-notch offering, expected to be the flagship HTC U11. The phone is set to be globally unveiled on May 16th. Even before that happens, we have managed to get hold of its 3D renders. The HTC U 11 is featured in a rendered video with a bright red colour scheme. The backside is the just as glossy-red as the HTC U Ultra was glossy-blue.
Starting with the top we see a slotted mic-hole, across from that is a round pin-hole for ejecting the SIM/microSD card tray. On the bottom, we see the USB-C port, a long-slotted speaker grille and two holes: one slotted and one pin-holed. One is the in-call mic from what we can guess other one would be given its juxtaposition, perhaps another noise-cancelling mic. The device will differ in terms of its thickness at the top and bottom – 9.2mm and 8mm respectively. The phone’s height and width are roughly expected to measure 154 x 76mm.
On The front under the display there is a fingerprint scanner. Display would be expected to sport a 5.5-inch. As per reports it is expected to have Super LCD screen will bear QHD resolution, and will get a protective layer in the form of Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the brand will opt for the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor. It would also incorporate 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal memory.
The smartphone should feature a 12 MP rear camera, a 16 MP front-facing camera, USB Type-C port, and a 3000 mAh battery. Android 7.1 Nougat will be running the show from launch.
