The Taiwanese company is expected to unveil HTC U11 Life at an event which will be held on November 2. Recently, the smartphone was spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench which revealed and confirmed some details about the configuration.
According to the listing, The HTC U11 Life will be powered by a 2.12Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 paired with 3GB of RAM. The handset scored 858 on single-core test while on multi-core test it achieved a score of 4136. It was running on the older Android 7.1.1 at the time of testing, but it could come with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo at the time of launching.
There are some discrepancies in configurations when compared to the speculated specs-sheet as earlier reports suggested that the HTC U11 Life will boast a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU and will be running on the latest Android Oreo. But as mentioned above the smartphone could still be shipped with Android Oreo.
As for other speculate configuration, the smartphone will feature a 5.2-inch display with Full-HD (1980 x 1080) resolution. In terms of optics, it will sport a 16MP camera with flash on the rear end. And has a similar 16MP front-facing camera. It will also come with USonic headphones and IP67 water and dust resistance. The HTC U11 Life will be available in two colors Sapphire Blue and Ice White, and will cost around €400/$472.
