HTC will be holding an event on November 2 to unveil their upcoming flagship HTC U11 Plus, but there has been an addition to the list of devices that would be launched on the date as according to a recent report the Taiwanese company will also release HTC U11 Life.
If the rumors are to be trusted, then HTC U11 Life will be part of the new Android One program and run on stock android same as MOTO X4 and Xiaomi Mi A1. The smartphone will also be a mid-ranged smartphone and would be available to the customers at a reasonable price.
As for the leaked specs, the HTC U11 Life will feature a 5.2-inch display with Full-HD (1980 x 1080) resolution same as the Moto X4. But the similarities doesn’t end there it will also be powered a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU.
The HTC U11 Life will be available in two storage variants 3GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage and a higher variant will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, it will sport a 16MP camera with flash on the rear end. And has a similar 16MP front-facing camera.
As the handset will be manufactured by HTC it will come with Edge Sense feature, which lets you launch the camera, and send texts by squeezing the metal edges of the smartphone and it can also perform other actions. The handset will also come with USonic headphones and IP67 water and dust resistance. It will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of box. The device will be available in two colors Sapphire Blue and Ice White, and will cost around €400/$472.
