HTC will be hosting an event on November 2, where it would unveil a new U series smartphone. And recently company has started posting teaser images for the fans which shows the upcoming device from different angles, the teasers suggests that the upcoming smartphone could be company’s next flagship HTC U11 Plus as one of the teaser revealed that the finger-print sensor will be placed on the rear which matches the renders of the HTC U11 Plus that have been leaked in the past.
Moving on to the latest teaser picture which doesn’t reveal much, but the bottom corner of the smartphone is visible and indicates that the upcoming smartphone will feature a minimal bezel display and could have the 18:9 aspect ratio. As the device will have smaller bottom bezels the navigation button will also be on-screen. And the picture came with a caption “You’ll believe it all on 11.02.2017”.
As for the speculated specs of the HTC U11, It will come with 6-inch POLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and have a Quad-HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixles) resolution. It will boast a 2.4Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It will have 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage, which is expected to support MicroSD card for expansion.
Moving on to the optics, the smartphone will sport a single 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video-call, etc. The handset will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The connectivity option will include USB OTG, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802 b/g/n, v4.1 Bluetooth and GPS. Sensors on-board are Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope, Light sensor and Pedometer.
