HTC is set to launch a new smartphone on November 2 in Taipei, according to the rumors the upcoming smartphone could be HTC U11 Plus. The smartphone has been spotted recently on Benchmarking platforms. And now reputed leakster @OnLeaks has posted a 3D rendered video on Twitter showing the smartphone from every angle possible revealing the design.
The render shows that the HTC U11 Plus will sport a display with minimal bezels on the sides and there will be small bezels in top and bottom. The fingerprint scanner would be shifted on the rear panel under the single sensor camera with dual tone led flash. The smartphone will have 3D liquid glass surface on the rear same as the HTC U11.
The video also reveals that the company will ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack, the exclusion of the headphone jack is becoming a trend nowadays for the flagships. And at the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port for charging and placement of the power and Volume button are same as its predecessor. The leakster also claimed that the smartphone will have different thickness, from the top it would measure 9.1mm, whereas if the device is measured from the bottom it would measure 8.1mm.
As for the leaked configuration, The HTC U11 will feature a massive 6-inch display which will be bezel-less and come with 18:9 ratio with Quad-HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixles) resolution. It will boast a 2.4Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage, which is expected to support MicroSD card for expansion.
Moving on to the optics, the smartphone will sport a single 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video-call, etc. The handset will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The connectivity option will include USB OTG, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802 b/g/n, v4.1 Bluetooth and GPS. Sensors on-board are Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope, Light sensor and Pedometer.
