As per a recent report, the Taiwanese company is working on a new flagship smartphone, HTC U11 Plus which is expected to be launched later this year on November 11 in China. The report also claims that the smartphone will be Codenamed as Ocean Master whose configuration were leaked earlier among two other devices that the company plans to announce by the end of 2017.
The main highlight of the upcoming HTC U11 Plus will be its massive 6-inch display with Quad-HD+ (1440 x 2880 pixels) resolution and it will be follow the bezel-less display trend. The display will also have 18:9 aspect ratio. It will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU to handle graphical tasks.
The handset will come in two variants, starting with base, it will have 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage and the high-end option will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with UFS 2.1 standard. It will be IP68 certified water and dust resistance, support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 (up to 18W), and a squeezable frame that enables the Edge Sense feature.
As for the optics, the smartphone will sport a 12MP camera on the rear same as its HTC U11 . And in the front, it will have an 8MP front-facing for selfie and video-call. No other details regarding pricing is known at the moment, but according to rumors it comes with an attractive price tag to regain its market share in China.
