HTC has finally launched their new flagship smartphone, HTC U11 Plus at an event today. The rear panel of the smartphone comes with a glossy “Liquid Surface” same as its predecessor and will be available in Ceramic Black, Amazing Silver and Translucent colors. It would cost around €799/$930 in European markets.
Specification-wise, The HTC U11 Plus rocks a 6-inch Super LCD6 display with QHD+ (2,880 x 1,440 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and for the protection it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 2.45Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon mated with Adreno540 GPU.
The handset comes in two storage options, the base version has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, while the high-end version has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both variants will support MicroSD card for expansion up to 2TB.
Moving on the camera, the smartphone features a single 12MP UltraPixel 3 camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, 1.4μm pixel, UltraSpeed autofocus, and a dual-LED flash. It captures slow-mo at 1080p with 120fps, and 4K recording with Hi-Res audio. And in the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with 85-degree field-of-view, f/2.0 aperture, and 1080p video recording.
The smartphone packs a 3930mAh with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense on top. It comes The handset measures 158.5 x 74.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 188 grams. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS + AGPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C. Sensor on-board includes Edge Sensor, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Motion G-sensor, Compass sensor, Gyro sensor and Magnetic sensor.
