The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been launching its new 2017 line-up in Global markets. Now the company is planning to unveil Huawei Honor 9 in India as recently the company posted on twitter that they will be unveiling Huawei Honor 9 at an event which will be held October 5 in the country.
The Huawei Honor 9 is already available in some global markets since the month of June and it is company’s one of the most selling model this year. The smartphone configuration is similar to Huawei Honor 8 Pro with some differences in display size and camera. It is available in Glacier Grey, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, Gold, Blue Bird, Robin Egg Blue color options globally.
As for the specs-sheet, the Huawei Honor 9 will feature a 5.15-inch display with Full-HD resolution. The smartphone will be powered by octa-core Kirin 960 processor with 6GB of RAM and will be available in two storage option 64GB and 128GB which are expandable via microSD card.
Moving on the optics, the handset will sport a horizontal dual camera setup on the rear with a primary 12MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and captures RGB shots. The secondary is a telephoto lens with 20MP sensors. The rear camera features include 2x optical zoom, portrait and bokeh modes. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
The device runs on EMUI 5.1 custom skin based on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 3200mAh battery. In Chinese market the smartphone cost around ¥2700 ($407/€344/₹26560) for the 64GB model which would be and ¥3000 ($452/€383/₹29511) for the 128GB one.
