After Huawei Maimang 6, which was launched in China last month, as well as the Huawei Nova 2i, which was launched earlier this month in Malaysia. Now, the company has unveiled a new smartphone with dual rear and front cameras Honor 9i under its sub-brand Honor.
Moving on to the configuration of the smartphone, the Honor 9i sports a 5.9-inch LCD display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 2.5D curved glass on top and has an 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset will be powered by an octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with the MaliT830-MP2 GPU.

It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. In term of optics, the smartphone will sport a vertical dual camera setup with dual tone LED flash on the rear with a 16MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. And it will also feature a dual camera setup with soft LED flash on the front with a 13MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. Both side cameras come with features like bokeh, portraits, Huawei’s Beauty 4.0 and wide lighting coverage.
There is a 3340mAh battery to power the setup and the smartphone runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Huawei Nova 2i offers various gestures that should make the phone experience a bit more interactive. Drawing an S with the knuckle captures a long screenshot like an article from top to bottom. Tapping twice with one finger takes a screenshot while tapping twice with two fingers starts screen recording. The smartphone measures 156.2x75x7.5 and weighs around 164g.
Honor 9i will carry a price tag of Rs. 17,999 and It will be available in three colours Platinum Gold, Navy Blue, and Midnight Black. The Honor 9i will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting October 14. Honor also announced the Honor MediaPad T3, Honor MediaPad T3 10 and a 10000mAh Quick Charge Power Bank at the event. The MediaPad T3 will retail for Rs. 12,999, and the MediaPad T3 10 will cost Rs. 14,999. These two tablets will also be sold exclusively on Flipkart similar to the Honor 9i. As for the Quick Charge Power Bank it is priced at Rs 2.399 and will be available via the Honor online store in India, with a Diwali offer till October 28 that makes it available at a discounted price of Rs. 1,999.
