Huawei has unveiled its new mid-tier smartphone Maimang 6 in China. The smartphone is the successor of last year’s Maimang 5. It will be available in Obsidian Black, Streamer Gold and Aurora Blue colors. It will carry a price tag of ¥2399 ($364 / €304) and is available for pre-order starting today, and ships from September 30.
Moving onto the configuration, the Huawei Maimang 6 features 5.9-inch LCD display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 2.5D curved glass on top and has an 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset will be powered by an octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with the MaliT830-MP2 GPU.
It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. As for optics, the smartphone will sport a vertical dual camera setup with dual tone LED flash on the rear with a 16MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. And it will also feature a dual camera setup with soft LED flash on the front with a 13MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor.
The handset runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs in a 3340mAh battery. The connectivity option include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, NFC. The Huawei Maimang 6 Measures 156.2 x 75.2 x 7.5mm and weighs around 164g.
