The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei will be unveiling its new flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 10 on October 16. Before the launch, Onleaks the trusted tipster has revealed the design of the smartphone by releasing a batch of CAD rendered images on social networking website Twitter.
The pictures show that the fingerprint scanner has been placed on the front side of the smartphone unlike its predecessors where the scanner was placed at the rear. The smartphone will feature 5-9inch bezel-less display with Quad-HD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution and will have 18:9 aspect ratio.
On the rear, The new Huawei Mate 10 has switched to glass sandwich design, whereas the previous Mate phones had metal backs. This change could be made to integrate wireless charging capabilities on to the smartphone. It also sports a vertical dual camera setup on the rear with LED flash and sensors on the sides.
The Huawei Mate 10 will be powered by new octa-core Kirin 970 with the Mali-G72MP12 GPU to handle the graphical task.The smartphone will have dimensions 150.2 x 77.5 mm in size, with a thickness of 8.4 millimeters. There could be pro variant of the smartphone also.
