Huawei is set to unveil its new flagship Mate 10 on October 16. And now, according to a recent leak the smartphone will be available in two variants ‘Alps’ and ‘Blanc’. The leak came from Twitter where trusted leakster @evleaks not only revealed the variants of the upcoming smartphone he also leaked the specification of the variants.
Starting with Blanc, the smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with Quad-HD+ (2880 x 1440) resolution and have 18:9 aspect ratio. It will powered by recently announced 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 970 coupled with 6GB of RAM and will available in two storage option 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card.

As for optics, the handset will sport a vertical dual camera setup on the rear with primary 12MP sensor and a secondary 20MP sensor. The rear dual camera system is co-developed with Leica. And it will have an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. It packs in a 4,000mAh battery, and run Android 8.0 Oreo with custom EMUI 6.0 on top. Blanc will come with IP68 water and dust certification and an LTE Cat. 16 modem.
Moving to the Alps, the smartphone will feature a 5.88-inch IPS LCD display with Quad-HD+ (2560 x 1440) resolution and have 16:9 aspect ratio. It will powered by same 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 970 paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. It will feature a slower LTE Cat. 12 and will have a thicker 8.23-millimeter frame.
