The Chinese mobile phone manufacturer has released another camera-centric smartphone Nova 2i in Malaysia. The main highlight of the smartphone will be its FullView display and four cameras. It will be available in Black, Blue, Gold.
As for the specs-sheet, the Huawei Nova 2i will feature a 5.9-inch display with a vertically-longer ratio of 18:9 and Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by a 2.36 GHz octa-core Kirin 659 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card upto 256GB.
Moving onto optics, the handset will sport a vertical dual camera setup on the rear with primary 16MP sensor and a secondary 2MP. And it also features a horizontal dual camera setup in the front with primary 13MP sensor and a secondary 2MP. Both side cameras have LED flash and come with features like bokeh, portraits, Huawei’s Beauty 4.0 and wide lighting coverage.
There is a 3340mAh battery to power the setup and the smartphone runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Huawei Nova 2i offers various gestures that should make the phone experience a bit more interactive. Drawing an S with the knuckle captures a long screenshot like an article from top to bottom. Tapping twice with one finger takes a screenshot while tapping twice with two fingers starts screen recording. The smartphone measures 156.2x75x7.5 and weighs around 164g.
