Nokia seems to be working on a new flagship smartphone Nokia 9 as earlier it was spotted on the benchmarking platform GFXBench which revealed some of its specifications. And Now some CAD rendered images has surfaced online revealing the design of the upcoming smartphone.
Looking at the render it shows the smartphone will also follow the bezel-less display trend and as there is no space for fingerprint scanner on the front it would be shifted on the rear under the vertical dual camera setup with Zeiss branding. The flash placement has also changed from the Nokia 8 as it is now on the left side of the camera setup rather than at the bottom with sensors.
As for the specs-sheet, the Nokia 9 would feature 5.3-inch display with Quad-HD (2560 x 1440) resolution. It will boast a 2.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. There are rumours that suggest the handset could also have a 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant.
On the rear, The smartphone will have a dual camera setup with 12MP sensors with autofocus, face detection, HDR, Touch focus and LED flash. The camera lenses could also be manufactured by ZEISS similar to Nokia 8. As for the front-facing camera it comes with a same 12MP sensor. Both cameras could shoot videos at 4K resolution.
