Samsung’s upcoming high-end flip phone, SM-G9298 specifications were leaked earlier. Recently, some CAD renders of the smartphone surfaced online which revealed the design of the smartphone from many angles. Reports suggest that the smartphone may be unveiled by the end of August.
Looking at the picture it shows that the device will feature two displays, one is on the outer side which will most probably be used for showing time, notification, incoming calls, etc. when the device is closed and another will be the main display which will be visible when the flip is opened. The earlier reports suggest that it will feature a 4.7-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.
Moving onto the side panels it seems Bixby button is missing which could suggest that the company won’t be adding its virtual assistant on to the device. On the rear, under the camera, the fingerprint scanner is placed. The handset is expected to have NFC and it’s going to support Samsung Pay, Wireless charging, S Voice, etc.
According to earlier rumors, The smartphone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the rear, it will sport a 12MP camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video-call. It will pack 2,300mAh battery and will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Touch wiz on top. The smartphone would cost a whopping $2000.
