Just recently we got the confirmation that the company will be releasing the Huawei Mate 10 Porsche variant by a teaser video which was posted on the company’s official Facebook page. And now, a new set of CAD rendered images of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite has appeared online. The renders were leaked along with the configuration of the smartphone by reliable tipster @evleaks on twitter.
The Huawei Mate 10 Lite which has been codenamed Rhone will be cheapest among the Mate 10 series and would be unveiled along with Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porche design on October 16. Moving on to the leaked specs-sheet, the Mate 10 Lite will come with 5.9-inch display with Full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone will sport a vertical dual camera setup with dual tone LED flash on the rear with a 16MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. And in the front also it features a dual camera setup with soft LED flash on the front with a 13MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor.
The handset is expected to be powered by a 2.36GHz octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with the MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs in a 3340mAh battery.
As for the design, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite will have unibody metal design and have minimal-bezel display in the front. The design and configuration of the device is same as the Huawei Maimang 6 which was released earlier in China, which means that the Maimang 6 could be rebranded and sold as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite in Global markets. The Huawei Mate 10 Lite will come in blue, black, and gold colors and cost around $455/€379.
