The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Intex has launched two new smartphones Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ in India today. The smartphone features shatterproof glass on the display and if it breaks the company would replace the display for free once. The Intex Aqua Lions X1 would cost around Rs. 7,499($115/€97) whereas the Aqua Lions X1+ is priced at Rs. 8,499($130/€110). Both will be available in Black, Blue, and Champagne colors.
Both Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ have similar specifications, The smartphones will sport a 5.2-inch IPS display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution and as mention earlier it will come with shatterproof glass for protection. The handsets are fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6737. The Aqua Lions X1 has 2GB of RAM with 16GB of built-in storage while the Aqua Lions X1+ comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. Both will support MicroSD card of expansion up to 128GB.
As for the optics, both the phones will rock a 13MP camera on the rear and have a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie and video-call. The front and rear end camera are accompanied by LED flash. The devices come with 2800mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphones measure 15cm x 7.44cm x 0.90cm and weighs around 170gm.
