Karbonn has introduced their new budget friendly smartphone, Titanium Jumbo in the Indian market. The smartphone will be made available in two colour options- Black and Champagne. It will carry a price tag of Rs. 6,490($99/€85) in India. The main USP of the smartphone is its massive 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver a standby time of up to 400 hours, and talk time of up to 16 hours.
As far as the specifications concerned, the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo features a 5-inch IPS display HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It will fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 64GB.
In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a 13MP sensor on the rear camera with LED flash and also rocks an 8MP front-facing camera for selfie, video-call, etc. The primary camera comes with features like Panorama shot, continuous shot and face detection. It runs Android Nougat out of the box and packs a massive 4000mAh battery to keep the lights on.
The connectivity options include 3G, EDGE/ GPRS, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Karbonn is touting a video editor application preloaded in the smartphone, but there are no details about the app though at the moment. The device is expected to be available via both offline and online channels.
