The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is working on a new smartphone, which will be named as Lenovo K8 Plus. Recently the smartphone was spotted on the benchmarking platform Geekbench revealing most if its configuration.
According to the listing, the smartphone will boast a 1.25GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 (MT6757CD) SoC with Mali-T880 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat without Vibe Pure UI as the company will be releasing all future devices starting with K8 Note will run on stock Android UI. The handset scored 861 on single core test and on multi-core it achieved 3761.
The K8 Plus will be the successor to last year’s K5 plus, there is no reason known us as to why the company will be skipping K6 and K7 plus. No other detail such as its display, storage, camera specifications, pricing, etc. are known at the moment.
