LG has sent out an invitation to media for an announcement in Berlin on August 31. The company will be unveiling their upcoming flagship of the year LG V30. The invitation has a Smartphone which is a tall 18:9 display with a V-shape design in the background. On top of the screen there is a tagline “Save the Date” followed by time, day and date. At the bottom of the invite Venue is mentioned i.e “Berlin, Germany”.
According to recent rumors the LG V30 will pack higher specs than G6 which was released earlier this year. LG V30 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 whereas G6 had Snapdragon 821 SoC. The smartphone will pack 4 GB of RAM, and will be IP68 certified for protection from dust and water.
The company will ditch their signature secondary display this time around and. THe handset is likely to feature a glass back to have wireless charging capabilities. As for display it will sport an OLED screen instead of LCD. On the rear it is expected to have horizontal dual camera setup.
