The South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG will be releasing not one, but two new handsets in IFA Berlin this year. Earlier it was reported that the company will unveil their new flagship LG V30 on August 31 in Germany. Now the recent rumor claims that the LG V30 will also have a Plus variant and both will be launched simultaneously.
The leak also suggests that the smartphones will make their debut in South Korea on September 15. The LG V30 Plus model will have greater 128GB of internal storage compared to LG V30’s 64GB. Other than storage all other configurations are similar to the base variant.
Both will sport 6-inch P-OLED Full Vision display with QHD+ (1440 x 2880) resolution with dual curved edges and minimal bezels. For protection, it would be using Gorilla Glass 5 and will support HDR10 which for a better experience when watching videos and movies.
The smartphones will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU. It will be available in two option 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The handsets will feature a horizontal dual camera setup with 16MP and 13MP sensor with a f/1.6 aperture for great low-light pictures. It will pack 3200mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with LG UX on top. Both devices will be IP68 Certified. LG V30 will cost around $700 and plus variant will be priced at $875.
