Le Eco has been on a hiatus for some time now. But now it seems the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is set to come back with a new smartphone as some images of an upcoming handset has surfaced online which reveal the design.
According to the rumors the smartphone will called LeEco Le 2S, the images suggest smartphone has been in development for a while now as the date on the lock screen is January 19. It will follow unibody metal design aesthetics. On the front, the smartphone will rock a bezel-less display from sides, but will have big top and bottom bezels. There are no capacitive buttons below the display which mean the smartphone will come with on-screen buttons.
Looking at the image with the rear end of the smartphone shows it will sport a single camera with flash on the rear and it will be placed on big bump under that there will be a fingerprint scanner. There seems to be an IR blaster along with a secondary microphone on the top.
All of its physical keys are placed on the right, which probably means that its SIM card tray is located on the left. As for the specification of the smartphone, it is rumored that the LeEco Le 2S will come with a 5.5-inch touchscreen with Full-HD resolution and it expected to boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 821 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Additionally, it should get a 16 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.
There is no information regarding the launch of the smartphone but there are chances that it doesn’t get released as the company have been facing some financial issues for some time now.
