Apple will be releasing their upcoming iPhone 8 in coming months. There have been many rumors and leaks regarding the smartphone configuration and design. The latest leak reveals the design of the back panel of the smartphone.
The images were taken when the back-panel was transferred from one Foxconn production line to another. What is surprising about the new leak is that there seems to be a cutout under the apple logo which could suggest that the company failed to implement the Touch ID onto to the display and is going to add the fingerprint scanner at the rear.
There were rumors that the company can ditch the idea of on-screen fingerprint scanner if it fails to integrate it by the time of production and the alternative chosen by apple was either use IRIS scanner or they would have embedded the fingerprint scanner onto the large power button on the side similar to Sony smartphones. Apple will launch three new phones in September and this could be one of any three, but the dual vertical dual camera cutout hints this is the iPhone 8.
