Meizu introduced its latest smartphone duo Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. The main USP of these smartphones is that they have AMOLED screen on both sides. The rear display will support wallpapers and can be used to check notifications, control the music player, snap selfies with the main camera etc..
On the front, the Meizu Pro 7 will feature a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD resolution, whereas the Pro 7 Plus will boast a bigger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a better Quad-HD resolution. The Pro 7 will have mid-ranged specs as it is powered by Helio P25 with 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but there are possibilities of a higher variant which could have Helio X30 SoC paired with 128GB of internal storage.
Moving onto Pro 7 Plus which will be the flagship device by the company, The smartphone will be powered by Helio X30 with 6GB of RAM and will be available in two storage option 64GB and 128GB. Both will sport a horizontal dual camera setup with 12MP Sony IMX386 sensors, one shoots standard color and another is a monochrome sensor to shoot black & white. The front-facing camera will have a 16MP sensor for selfies and video call.
As for battery capacity, The Pro 7 Plus has 3,500mAh capacity, which will support mCharge 4.0 and smaller pro 7 has 3,000mAh battery, but it will support older mCharge 3.0. The devices will be running Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme 6. The phones have a standard 3.5mm audio jack and a dedicated audio processing chip for improved audio quality.
Both devices will be available from August 5, Pro 7 will be starting from $430 and Pro 7 Plus will cost around $530. The Pro 7 will be available in three color variants Red, black and silver, whereas Pro 7 Plus will have four color variants black, gray, gold and silver.
