Moto X4 was expected to be launched on June 30 but there was no announcement by the company, but now there are rumours the device will be launched in last quarter of this year. Evan Blass the tipster also claims that specification of Moto X4 which was leaked earlier are also wrong.
According to him Moto X4 will powered by 2.2Ghz octa core Snapdragon 630 instead of Snapdragon 660 which was suggested by the earlier rumours, and recently we heard that the device launch was postponed as Qualcomm was unable to meet the demands of the Snapdragon 660. Smartphone will have a 5.2 inch display with Full HD(1920 x 1080) resolution. Moto X4 will be the first non-Google smartphone to support Project Fi MVNO service that allow users switch to any carrier’s network to get better reception.
The device will have 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card upto 128GB and Adreno 508 GPU for handling graphics. As for camera it will feature a dual camera setup on the rear end with an 8MP and another 12MP sensor. On the front it has 16MP camera for taking selfies, video call etc. Moto X4 will have aluminium body and IP68 certified to protect it from dust and water. It will pack 3000mAh battery and it will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat out of box.
