We have already have got the official renders of Moto Z2 Play and now we got images of the retail box of the device. According to the latest leak, Motorola will announce the phone at the Computex 2017 event in Taipei and in Brazil on June 1, 2017. Furthermore, a user has posted the images of the Moto Z2 Play along with the sealed package on Google Plus. User also posted the screenshot of the CPU-Z application which confirmed the complete specifications of the phone.
This time around the device does not feature the glass body the back. Instead, it has an aluminium body, which is a welcome change because the Z Play was a fingerprint magnet. The device also support Moto mods from last year which are now called as Moto Snaps. But according to the rumours New Moto Z2 Play is said to be a downgraded device from last year’s Moto Z2 Play. The phone will pack a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, which offers just 10 percent better performance than the Snapdragon 625 used in the Moto Z Play.
The Moto Z2 Play has a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED touchscreen with a 12 MP main camera with Dual Pixel autofocus and a 8MP front-facing camera with dual tone LED flash. It will come with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and Adreno 506 GPU will take care of graphics in the phone. Android version on board should be 7.1.1 Nougat.
