Motorola will be releasing its new mid-range smartphones Moto G5S and G5S Plus in India on August 29. The smartphones will be the successor to the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. The Moto G5S Plus will be exclusively available on E-commerce website Amazon from 12PM onwards.
Starting with Moto G5S, it will feature a 5.2-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 128 GB. It packs a 3000mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the Box.
On the rear, it sports an enhanced 16 MP camera which has f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. But it can only record Full HD as that is the limit on Snapdragon 430. It has a 5MP on the front with the same aperture with a flash or better selfies, video-call, etc. in darker environments. The handset will be available in two color variants Lunar Grey and Fine Gold and will be priced at $295/€249.
Moving onto Moto G5S Plus, it will feature a 5.5-inch display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The smartphone will be powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. The smartphone will be available in two storage option 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. It packs a 3000mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the Box.
As for optics, it will sport a horizontal dual camera setup with two 13 MP sensors. Both lenses have f/2.0 aperture and comes with dual-LED flash. It will also support 4K videos. It also has 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash for selfies and video-call. It also comes in two color variants Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.The G5S Plus will cost $354/€299.
