Asus is expected to launch six new Zenfone 4 devices by the end July. According to a screenshot from Google Support’s site revealed these devices with their model name as well as the market name. First on the list is Zenfone 4 Max (ZC554KL) comes with a model name ASUS_X00ID which will have a large battery with midrange specs. It is the successor of last year’s Zenfone 3 Max.
Next is Zenfone 4 Pro with model name ASUS_Z01GD, this is new device by Asus in the Zenfone series so we don’t know much about the device but if we go by the naming of the device it could be a high-end device. Then there is Zenfone 4 Selfie with model name ASUS_Z01MD which was spotted recently on GFXBench which revealed some of its specs such as it would be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset with eight Cortex-A53 cores, clocked at 2.0 GHz. As for camera it will sport a 16 MP camera on the rear and 12 MP on front with 4K shooting capability.
Rest of the devices on the list have similar marketing name ‘Zenfone 4’ and ‘Zenfone 4V’ with different model names. Asus might release these devices with different RAM and internal storage configuarions. Earlier there were reports that these devices were expected to get launched in May, but company has postponed the launch of ZenFone 4 series to July end to overhaul design improvements.
