Earlier, the Xiaomi Mi 6C, which will be a mid-ranged version of the company’s flagship MI 6 was spotted on benchmarking platform GFXBench with Codename Jason. Now, some CAD rendered images of the smartphone has appeared online revealing its design from both front and back ends.
The render indicates that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6C will feature a display with minimal bezels with home button on the front same as MI 6. On the rear, it will sport a horizontal dual camera setup with LED flash. The smartphone will have full metal back.
According to the GFXBench listing, The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is an octa-core chip with all the eight cores clocked at 2.2GHz. The Snapdragon 660 replaced the Snapdragon 653 in the upper mid-range chipset category. As for display it would have a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, but the pixel density isn’t revealed in the listing.
Adreno 512 GPU will support the graphics on the phone along with whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There will be a 11MP camera at the back of the phone, and a 3MP snapper adorns the front of the phone. MI 6c will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, with MIUI on top. But there are rumors that the MI 6C will boast an in-house next-gen Surge S2 SoC boasting four cores of 2.2 GHz Cortex A73 and four cores of 1.8 GHz Cortex A53 along with Mali-G71 MP12 for its graphics.
