Apple is expected to unveil their upcoming iPhone 8 by the end of September. Recently we witnessed image and video leaks of the smartphone by tipsters, Phone case manufacturer, etc. Now Forbes’s Gordon Kelly has obtained the 3D render images of Apple iPhone 8 from a case designer Nodus.
According to the report the render of iPhone 8 is accurate and the company will be integrating the Touch ID onto the power button similar to Sony, if it fails to embed it onto the display. The iPhone 8 will feature a 5.8 inch OLED display, which will be bezel-less as previous rumors also suggest. On the top the device the front-facing camera, sensors and speaker will be placed.
The smartphone will also feature an on screen home button which will act as new functional area and it will supposedly be used to access notifications. On the rear iPhone 8 will sport a horizontal dual camera setup with flash in between them. The dual camera setup was switched from vertical to horizontal so that it could support Augmented Reality where horizontally aligned cameras are more useful.
The report also claims that iPhone 8 will be using the same Lighting port as its predecessor and will not switch to USB type-C. And there will be no support for 3.5mm headphone jack on this year’s iPhone also.
