Initially, the company released Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 in January and got a great response from the customers. Now Xiaomi has released the smartphone with a new Lake Blue color variant which will be available from April 4 onwards. It could be purchased from E-commerce website Flipkart and company’ own MI.com.
The company says that the Lake Blue color variant of Redmi Note 4 has been launched as a part of its ‘Wake the Lake’ project in India and part of the earnings from the sale of each device will go towards supporting initiatives under the government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Moving onto the configuration, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will feature a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full-HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. And unlike its other color variants, the Lake Blue will only be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
The smartphone will sport a 13MP CMOS sensor camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. On the front the smartphone will have a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, Smart and Pro Beautify and Face recognition for selfies and video-call The connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It will pack a large 4100mAh battery and will be running on Android 6.0 marshmallow with custom MIUI on top.
