Earlier there were rumors that Nokia 9 would be company’s flagship device, but according to recent reports it seems that it will be the Nokia 8 that would have flagship status instead and it is expected to be launched on July 31. The Smartphone is expected to come in Blue, Steel Gold, Gold/blue, and Gold/copper colours and on the rear it will have unibody aluminium design.
The recent image render suggests that the Nokia 8 will sport 13MP vertical dual camera setup on the rear with Zeiss sensors. The render also suggest that the smartphone will following bezel-less display trend and will have curved edges on the sides. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is also present at the top of the handset which is rare now days.
As for other specification, the Nokia 8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and will be available in two variants 4GB and 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. The phone will feature a compact 5.3 inch display with Quad-HD (2160 x 1440) resolution. Nokia 8 is said to be priced around €598 ($686).
