HMD Global will be unveiling its upcoming flagship Nokia 8 on August 16 in an event. Earlier it was rumored that the smartphone will be priced at €598 ($686). Now Vodafone Romania has leaked the pricing of the smartphone, which will be around €517.
As the leak came from Romania, it could suggest that the pricing will be same for all European markets. But, as taxes vary from country to country the cost of the smartphone can be different. This pricing will make the fans happy as it’s a decent price to pay for a flagship with a dual camera.
According to the specs-sheet, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and will be available in two variants 4GB and 6GB of RAM. It will come with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will be available in four color options Blue, Steel, Gold/blue, and Gold/copper.
On the rear, the handset will sport a vertical dual camera with 13MP sensors which are Zeiss-branded. The smartphone will feature a 5.3-inch display with Quad-HD (2560 x 1440) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for protection.
