The Chinese smartphone maker is rumored to introduce the new Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus along with the Xiaomi Redmi 5 by the end of the month. Earlier some real life images of the smartphone were spotted in the wild and now a CAD rendered image have leaked from Weibo with good clarity has appeared online revealing the design from different angles.
The image confirms some design aspects of the earlier leaks as the render also reveals that the upcoming smartphone will feature the in-trend Fullview display with 18:9 aspect ratio and has minimal bezels on the side. On the rear it would feature a vertical dual camera setup followed by the LED flash and the fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of configuration, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will come equipped with a 5.7-inch LCD display with HD+(1440 × 720 pixels) resolution. It will be powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
The smartphone will be available in two storage options, base variant will come with 3GB of RAM mated with 16GB of inbuilt storage and the high end model will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.
In terms of optics, the handset will sport an 8MP on the rear with led flash and in the front it will have 6MP camera sensor for selfie, video-call etc. As for its pricing, the base vairiant with 3GB RAM + 16GB ROM will sell for 799 Yuan ($121/€104) while its higher variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM will carry a price tag of 899 Yuan ($136/€117).
