HMD Global has released their new budget-friendly smartphone Nokia 5 in India. The smartphone will only be available for purchasing via offline stores, unlike other Nokia smartphones. The device will available in four color options Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper but at the moment the consumers will be able to buy the Nokia 5 in Matte Black only. Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper color variants will be available in the coming weeks at retail stores.
The Nokia 5 will feature a 5.2-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. The smartphone will powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
As for optics, the smartphone will sport a 13MP camera with LED flash and it’s front facing camera has an 8MP sensor for selfies and video-call. It will pack a 3000mAh battery and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Nokia 5 will cost around Rs. 12,499, and some launch offers have also been revealed by the company. Vodafone customers will get 5GB data per month at Rs. 149 per month for 3 months on the smartphone. Buyers will also get Rs. 2,500 off (Rs. 1,800 on hotels & Rs.700 off on domestic flights) on
