Some reports suggested that HMD Global is working on a new smartphone with model number TA-1054, which was alleged to be the company’s next flagship Nokia 9 earlier. But the new leak contradicts the earlier rumors as it suggests that it would be the new Nokia 6 2018 edition.
Just a month ago, model number TA-1054 got 3C certified and some of its core configuration were revealed. The Nokia 6 is expected to boast an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, which would be clocked at 2.2GHz paired with Adreno 512 GPU for handling graphical tasks.
Speaking of the design, It is speculated that the Nokia 6 2018 edition will follow same design aesthetics as its predecessor and come with all metal rear panel. But unlike last year’s edition the fingerprint scanner would be placed on the rear panel as the new smartphone is expected to rock a full view display and have minimal bezels on all sides with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The device is rumored to be officially announced in the next MWC event, which will be held in Barcelona next year in the month of February. No other info regarding its other details, pricing is known to us at the moment.
