Earlier there were reports that suggested that Nokia 8 would be unveiled by the end of this month. Recently, HMD Global has started sending out invites for a press event where the company will be releasing their upcoming flagship Nokia 8 on August 16 in London. The device is rumored to cost around €598 ($686).
The Nokia 8 will be the first smartphone from the company to sport vertical dual camera setup on the rear. According to earlier leaks, the dual camera will have 13MP sensors which are Zeiss-branded. The smartphone will feature a 5.3-inch display with Quad-HD (2560 x 1440) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for protection.
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and will be available in two variants 4GB and 6GB of RAM. It will come with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB. It will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will be available in four color options Blue, Steel, Gold/blue, and Gold/copper.
