The past few weeks there have been many rumours and renders of the unannounced Oneplus 5T but there was no official word about it until now as the CEO of the company, Pete Lau claimed in a post on an Oneplus forum that the OnePlus 5T will have a headphone jack.
According to lau, the company was even thinking of adding another USB-type-C port in place of the 3.5mm jack to slim down the upcoming smartphone but they came to conclusion that USB-C port would not bring any noticeable improvements over a 3.5mm jack so they chose to stick with it.
Meanwhile, the company has also posted a teaser image where it shows 5 cups of tea, hinting that the upcoming smartphone will be named OnePlus 5T. OnePlus has again favored the alphabet “T” to name their second flagship, last year also they released an upgraded version of last year’s flagship and added T at the end of it.
